Google has officially announced the next major version of Google Search in its search engine.
Google Search for Android will now launch in late 2018.
The feature will include the social networking features of Google+, YouTube, Google+ Hangouts and Google Hangouts on a web-based interface, the company said in a blog post.
Google has also unveiled an updated Google+ photo and video app, a Google+ video chat app and Google+ messaging app.
The company said it plans to launch the social network functionality on both Android and iOS devices, but Google has yet to reveal how the social features will work on both platforms.
Google is working on integrating the new social features into the search engine, Google said.
Google has been building the social networks in-house for a while.
Its search engine in Android is one of the most popular social network on the planet.
Its mobile search and search engine on iOS is the second most popular.
Google announced in 2015 it was buying a small startup called Search Engine Land to build the social media network in its name.
Google said it was building its new social network to better compete with Google+ and Facebook, which Google already owns.
