NHL trade deadline deadline day 3: All eyes on Ottawa Senators and Rangers

With a deadline of sorts just around the corner, the NHL’s trade deadline has become an opportunity for teams to make their moves before the deadline.

Here are a few things to keep in mind as teams prepare for the start of free agency.

Here’s the NHL schedule for March 31:NHL trade deadline day 4: All-Star break beginsThe All-Stars of the NHL take the ice for the first time this season as they prepare to face off against the Ottawa Senators on Friday.

The Stars and Senators have not played since the All-star break, and that’s a big reason the Sens have not been active in the past couple of days.

It will be interesting to see if the Stars’ top-line forwards (Patrick Sharp and Tyler Seguin) and defensemen (John Klingberg and Jason Demers) are ready to take on the Senators on Thursday.

It’s also important to note that the Stars have been active for the last two days and have been playing a ton of games.

So if Dallas’ top line continues to play well, the Sens should be a tough out to make a run for the playoff spots.
