The new Twitter app for footballers has received the green light by the European Commission.
The decision means that the app can be launched this month.
Twitter has been a controversial topic in the game, with some players calling for it to be removed.
The app is expected to come with a new Twitter logo and some features such as news updates and trending topics, as well as new features such on-field video streaming.
The Commission also approved the use of the hashtag #Twitter, which was used to promote the app and Twitter has been criticised by some players and some analysts for not doing enough to control the social media influence of the app.
The commission said it was not a decision to remove Twitter, but a measure to ensure the safety of the athletes.
The new app will be available from the end of July.
It is expected that the new app can come with new features.
